Crearo 4G Individual Terminal Supports Traffic Research for the Jiangnan Section of Wuhan Metro Line 8 Construction

Release Date:2017-03-22 | Views:5

Recently, there has been a major landmark in Wuhan - the intersection of Luoshi Road Street. As a bustling area that has long been ranked first in Wuhan's congestion ranking, the construction of the second phase of Wuhan Metro Line 8 will begin along the line, and the congestion level is expected to worsen! The Wuhan Municipal Government and relevant departments attach great importance to this and timely release the traffic impact assessment and prediction of the construction of Metro Line 8, introduce new traffic control plans, and add 26 fixed and patrol guidance positions on the construction section to ensure that there are police forces guarding and timely guidance at each node of the construction section.

Starting from March 12th, in order to ensure the traffic conditions after the construction of the section of Metro Line 8, the leaders of multiple departments including the municipal government, municipal public security bureau, municipal traffic management bureau, district government, subway, public transportation, urban management, etc. jointly established a traffic organization research group for the Jiangnan area to evaluate the overall traffic impact.

Genesis Technology has partnered with partners to provide a real-time aerial video monitoring solution for this survey. Genesis 4G individual soldiers have been deployed to multiple traffic police stations to synchronize real-time monitoring and image transmission at multiple unmanned aerial vehicle monitoring points, comprehensively monitoring traffic conditions. Real time monitoring and rapid response to survey teams have been carried out for fenced off areas and congested road sections, and the video images that need to be viewed on site have been wirelessly transmitted to the command center as soon as possible. The attending leaders can have real-time understanding, on-site analysis, command and coordination, and further improve relevant traffic organization and diversion plans for congestion issues.

This survey identified and effectively addressed multiple issues that affect road smoothness, such as the Luoshi Road Mafangshan Bus Station affecting road smoothness, the substation occupying pedestrian walkways causing pedestrians to turn onto the driving lane, and increasing driving pressure. At the same time, it was found that the enclosed road sections are relatively smooth, but there may be congestion in the surrounding road sections.

In response to the problems reflected in the comprehensive real-time monitoring of traffic conditions, the research team conducted on-site analysis and discussion, striving to adopt the optimal measures to ensure smooth roads in the Jiangnan area and minimize the impact on citizens' travel. After five days, the traffic organization research activity in the Jiangnan area was successfully completed.
